Here is an excerpt from the recent findacrew newsletter. They now have a reality TV show planned, great things ahead for our friends at findacrew.

Brian’s story…
A few months ago, we met one of our boat members who was passing by Mooloolaba (our home town in Australia). Brian is from Seattle and is circumnavigating the world in his beautiful Selene 48 ocean going trawler. After leaving from Mexico two years ago, and heading across the Pacific, Brian quickly worked out that it was much more fun to have good crew on board than cruise alone, and after hearing about Find a Crew™, soon found he had an added highlight to his journey – the people he meets. Brian admits that without Find a Crew™, it would be a lot harder to find these people.

So far, Brian has had a variety of crew members – some experienced, some not, couples, locals and those who have flown across the globe to meet him. He was a pretty happy chappy in the Whitsunday Islands in the Great Barrier Reef (as you can see in the photo above!) when he was accompanied by 4 lovely ladies who showed him amazing dive locations, explored islands with him and even made some pretty good french toast! Brian says in his blog that he sometimes thinks it is all too good to be true, and that he is just back in his office having a daydream. But no – it’s all real Brian!

We met several other crew members while Brian was in town, and it was great to hear their stories of how they found Brian so quickly, and of the adventures they had with him.

Brian is now in Darwin and along with over 100 other boats, is almost ready to leave for the Sail Indonesia rally as part of his continuing journey.

We wish Brian, his crew and all the Sail Indonesia boats a fantastic trip! www.sailindonesia.net
