Join the Furthur Experience

We are now accepting limited charter dates in the Summer of 2015 and winter of 2015/16 aboard Furthur. Come explore either Indonesia’s Komodo Islands this summer or the famed Palawan area of the Philippines starting Christmas 2015. You can dive, kayak, explore new cultures, and learn all you like about operating a long range cruising vessel.


Mid July thru mid September

See the prehistoric Komodo Dragon, visit primitive villages, immerse in the culture and explore the tranquil islands all at your own pace. We accept two people at a time so we can make this YOUR experience. Capt Brian has spent three seasons in the Komodo area so knows the places people and dive sites.

Current certified divers can take dive in one of the top dive areas of the world, Sharks, Manta Rays, Turtles abound, all in clear warm water.


Two weeks open in later April/early May then starting again in the 2015 Holiday season we will be back in Palawan, the treasure of the Philippines. Here you can dive on 7 WWII wrecks, thermal lakes reaching 40c or coral reefs. Remote anchorages provide epic kayaking opportunities as well as tranquility.

Furthur is a well equipped 2005 Selene 48 Long Range Trawler that has been cruising the world since 2009, starting in Seattle and now in SE Asia. The guests will use the luxurious master stateroom with in suite head/shower for couples or the two bunk guest stateroom as you wish. We have dive gear, tanks and compressor as well as photo equipment.

Capt Brian is a very experience professional captain with a life of experience and 30 years in the marine industry. He has logged over 35,000 miles on this voyage. He is a PADI Dive Master and known also as the “Singing Captain” bringing you songs of the 60’s.

The international crew of young ladies will spoil you with excellent food and service along with a great amount of fun.

If you might be considering long range cruising, Captain Brian will teach you all you want to learn as well as hands on experience, a great way to taste this incredible lifestyle. For those guests we can arrnage for more hands on cruising, navigation, anchoring and all the elements of cruising in third world countries.
